The world's first dual-fueled cargo ship built by Nanjing Manufacturing sailed past the Jingling Shipyard in Nanjing for its Finnish owners on Aug 31.
The ship weighs 25,000 tons, and its engine and electric generator can be used flexibly by switching between diesel and natural gas. As the world's most environmental-friendly cargo ship, its carbon dioxide emissions are reduced by 50% from the previous generation of ships.
