Ten “Nanjing faces” that will make their debut at the Grand Central Terminal in the United States were unveiled on Aug 31.
Among these faces are Zhang Yibin, secretary of Party committee and Professor of Philosophy of Nanjing University, Chen Bige, an international supermodel and public welfare organization sponsor, and Ding Wei, an entrepreneur. During the “Nanjing Week”, their photos will be played in videos at the Grand Central Terminal, the world’s largest railway station, featuring warm stories of Nanjing.
The “Nanjing Week” campaign in New York will be launched at the United Nations Headquarters Building in New York, the Grand Central Terminal, Columbia University and other global top-level cultural exchange venues from Sept 7 to 13. A series of exchange activities will be held to let the world know more about Nanjing.
