This robot named “Ling Shuai” is the first android security guard for warehouse patrol in China. It is now on duty at Suzhou Grain Depot, according to the city’s grain reserve authority.
The 1.5-meter-high robot uses laser navigation, human-robot interface and image recognition technologies to patrol 20 warehouses in the depot. It can also detect pollutants and prevent hazards. The use of the android patrol makes digitalized storage management possible, said the grain reserve authority.
