Registration of will has gained popularity in Jiangsu province, as is evidenced by the one-year anniversary of the provincial will registration center. More than 3000 elders have had their wills registered with the center over the past year. The eldest of them is 101 years old. Wang Lingyun, an 82-year-old man, signed on the application form last June to donate his body after death. She also made known her wish to donate her body in her will, adding that she is willing to contribute herself to the society. The China Will Registration Center has been running since March 2013. The registration system includes such formalities as scanning finger prints, recording videos, scanning and archiving paperwork, witnessing and sealing the will.
