There has been a moderate income hike for domestic helpers in Suzhou as demand is rising, local media reported.
According to the reference price for domestic helpers, the monthly wage for a full-time domestic helper is capped at 5000 yuan with the minimum wage fixed at 4000 yuan. The figures represent a growth of 40% from a year ago.
The reference prices for domestic helpers cover maternity matron, nursery teacher, live-in nanny, hourly-paid helper and full-time helper.
