Printing of the stamps for the lunar year of the Dog has officially started. Zhou Lingzhao, a 98-year-old artist, is the designer of the two sets of stamps that mark the Dog’s Year. The stamps will be issued Jan. 5, 2018 by China Post Group, with the smallest circulation in the fourth round of stamps of zodiac animals. Since 1980, China has issued annually the animal year stamp to commemorate the signs of the 12 Chinese astrological animals. In recent years, Chinese zodiac stamps have become increasingly popular among stamp collectors. The 1980 "Golden Monkey" garnered much attention among buyers.
