The signing ceremony of the "Teacher Orientation Cultivation Program for Rural Area" of Nanjing's Luhe and Pukou districts was held at Nanjing Xiaozhuang University on August 2.
Nanjing Xiaozhuang University enrolled 274 village teachers from 32 counties of 10 municipalities this year, covering pre-school education, elementary school education, music and sports.
This is the second year that Jiangsu province has implemented orientation programs for teachers in rural area. Altogether 2,273 teachers from 13 cities and 52 counties will be enrolled by seven institutes of higher learning, namely Jiangsu Normal University, Jiangsu Second Normal University, Nanjing Xiaozhuang University, Yangzhou University, Nantong University, Yancheng Normal University and Huaiyin Normal University.
