Enterprises in Jiangsu province have received a major boost from the integrated customs clearance scheme that was put into operation for one month ago.
Suzhou Nexteer Automotive System Co. Ltd used to unload its imported cargo at the Shanghai Port before making transshipment to various destinations across the country. The process was time-consuming and laborious.
With the integrated customs clearance scheme putting into operation, Nexteer is now able to unload their imported cargo at the port within closest range of their clients. A container of auto parts imported from Poland is now able to be shipped to the client via the China-European freight train, slashing the time spent on transshipment by half.
Jiangsu registers 120000 foreign trade firms, ranking first in the country.
The integrated customs clearance scheme has benefited more and more Jiangsu foreign trade firms, as is evidenced by the 285229 customs declaration forms handled by Nanjing Customs in July, facilitating trade convenience and boosting customs supervision efficiency.
