East China’s Jiangsu province has released a new guideline on the promotion of new business models in a bid to further cultivate and expand new types of consumption, better meet people’s new consumer needs, and boost new economic growth momentum.
Jiangsu will encourage new consumer enterprises to fully integrate into the international market, promote the construction of information network infrastructure, make up for weaknesses in the commercial circulation infrastructure, cultivate and construct new consumer carriers, and give support to Nanjing, Suzhou, Xuzhou, and Wuxi in their efforts to develop into international consumption centers.
In the meantime, Jiangsu willstrengthen the construction of new consumer laws and regulations, improve the new consumer service standard system, strengthen anti-monopoly and anti-unfair competition law enforcement, rectify online and offline violations of laws and regulations, and continue to optimize the business environment and consumption environment.
By 2023, Jiangsu will have established a new consumption supply system to ensure that by 2025, new consumption will become an important engine for the province's high-quality development.
