A total of 31 Suzhou King Long natural gas buses were dispatched to Tel Aviv, Israel recently. It’s the first time for Higer Bus Company Limited to export natural gas buses in bulk to an international high-end market.

As the capital of Israel, heavily populated Tel Aviv is facing an increasingly serious problem of environmental pollution. The local government attaches great importance to the environmental protection issue of public transport and has made great efforts to promote the substitution of environment friendly energy bus for traditional energy bus. Five Suzhou King Long Higer super-capacitor (SC) buses were put into use in Tel Aviv back in 2016 and the city has purchased more SC buses time and again after that. Compared with the SC bus, the natural gas bus delivered this time is able to reduce energy consumption, environmental pollution and operation cost in a more effective way.

With blue and white as the dominant colors, this batch of natural gas buses has passed the ECE certification of the European Union (EU) and conforms to the laws and regulations of the EU and Israel. To adjust to the local high temperature weather, the buses are also equipped with high-power air conditioners and thickened thermal-protective coating to provide a comfortable environment for passengers. The buses will go into operation in batches in the capital city Tel Aviv based on routes and passenger flows so as to better serve local citizens and tourists from all over the world.

Suzhou King Long has kept in step with the Belt and Road Initiative in recent years with its new energy and clean energy products successively exported to such countries along the Belt and Road as Korea, Serbia, Bulgaria, Italy, Austria, Israel, etc.
