East China’s Jiangsu province made unremitting efforts last year to promote the deep integration of the industrial chain and the innovation chain, build an independent, controllable, safe and efficient industrial supply chain, and promote high-quality economic development.

Nanjing Kangchuanji Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. is engaged in the research and development of high-end preparations, and has developed close connections with more than a dozen companies in Jiangning High-tech Zone in the whole process from clinical research and development to production.

There are 41 biomedical high-tech enterprises in Nanjing Jiangning High-tech Zone, such as Kangchuanji Medicine. In the Jiangsu Medical Technology Industrial Park, China’s first external magnetic levitation artificial heart developed by Suzhou Xinqing Medical has entered clinical trials not long ago。

Jiangsu Medical Technology Industrial Park aims at the top technology of the new medical device industry chain. Last year, it was granted 1054 patents of various types with many scientific and technological achievements ranking foremost and leading in China.

According to the National Technology Forecast Survey, Jiangsu contributed 15.1% to China's pace-setting technologies with its key core technologies in the fields of nanotechnology, supercomputing, biomedicine, and the Internet of Things ranking foremost internationally.

Last year, Jiangsu focused on building 13 advanced manufacturing clusters, including Jiangsu biomedicine and new medical equipment, offshore equipment, and high-tech ships, enabling the province to rank first in the country in terms of its total output value and 9 clusters were in a leading echelon in the country.
