The Provincial Committee of the CPPCC went on an inspection tour in the Provincial Procuratorate last week. Huang Lixin, chairwoman of the provincial committee of the CPPCC took part in the inspection tour.
The provincial CPPCC members visited Zijin Rural Commercial Bank where they were briefed on the procuratorial service financial work carried out by the Nanjing Jianye District Procuratorate, inspected the criminal reconciliation and public hearing room of the procuratorate in the district, visited the Provincial Procuratorate’s New Media Center, heard the work report of the province's procuratorates and held a symposium.
The Ninth Plenary Session of the Thirteenth Provincial Party Committee thoroughly implemented the instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech during the inspection tour in Jiangsu, the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee and the Central Economic Work Conference, and made important arrangements for the "14th Five-Year Plan" and next year’s work, according to the symposium.
The Provincial Procuratorate must always adhere to the guidance of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, especially the Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, and thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee under the strong leadership of the Provincial Party Committee and the Higher Procuratorate, the statement said.
In accordance with the deployment requirements of the Ninth Plenary Session of the Thirteenth Plenary Session of the Provincial Party Committee, we will further give full play to the role of procuratorial functions, demonstrate new deeds in the development of higher-level development, strengthen self-construction with higher standards, be the legal guardian of the people's good life, start a new journey of modernization, and build more wisdom and strength for the new Jiangsu, said the statement.
The provincial CPPCC members called on CPPCC organizations and CPPCC members at all levels in the province to give full play to the role of specialized consultation agencies to provide strong support for the development of procuratorial work, promote the construction of a higher level of rule of law in Jiangsu, contribute the wisdom of the CPPCC to promote high-quality development, create high-quality life, and achieve high-efficiency governance.
