The city of Changzhou has wrapped up the construction of the UL power battery testing laboratory project in Wujin National High-tech Zone. With equipment installation and commissioning in smooth progress, the project is expected to be put into trial operation in August this year.
UL, a well-known safety certification organization and third-party testing organization in the USA, entered the Chinese market 40 years ago.
Smart electric vehicles have gradually taken shape in recent years in Wujin High-tech Zone as one of the leading industrial chains, attracting UL to settle the world's first power battery testing laboratory.
