Dongbei Street
Last night, the unveiling ceremony of the “Lively Museum Season” themed market, which was also the Dongbei Street Lighting Ceremony, was held at Suzhou Museum.
Various exhibitions on such themes as carved printing block, calligraphy copy, touhu game (throwing arrows into a pot, 投壶), pipa performance (a Chinese lute, 琵琶), traditional Han Chinese dress show, Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) products, etc. will be set up along the Dongbei Street from 3:30pm to 9pm every Friday and Saturday from June 6 to July 4.
Opened by the ICH Office of Suzhou Municipal Government, Suzhou ICH shop was also launched at the Suzhou Tourism Information Center (No.231 Dongbei Street) yesterday.
The shop will adopt the operation model of “one-week shopkeeper” to promote Suzhou ICH products through “on-site display and sale + online live streaming”. In addition, it will cooperate with “Restoration Intangible Heritage Experiential Studio” to organize a series colorful off-line events at weekends. The shop’s first shopkeeper Lei Yunshang already moved in yesterday.

Jiangnan Small Theater
