A delegation of 24 people from Sihanouk Province of Cambodia visited the photo exhibition of 40 Years’ Development of Jiangsu’s International Friendship City Relations Thursday at Nanjing Library. Take a look!
The delegation was led by the governor of Sihanouk Province, Yun Min, who has visited Jiangsu for 3 times including this one. With the interpretation of the narrator, the group listened and had a thorough understanding of Jiangsu’s international friendship city relations.
The group was amazed by the cooperation between Jiangsu and its sister cities all around the world, especially the ties between Sihanouk and Jiangsu.
At the end of the visit, Yun Min gifted the narrator a scarf embroidered with the symbol of Sihanouk Province.
Jiangsu’s Wuxi City forged sister relation with Cambodia’s Sihanouk City in 2009. The special economic zone in Sihanouk (SSEZ) has become a model of the international cooperation between China and Cambodia. This time, Jiangsu Province and Sihanouk Province will forge sister relation officially in Nanjing, raising the sister relation between the two sides to a provincial level.
