The Music Fountain of Jinji (Golden Rooster) Lake in Suzhou city will be back after over 3 years’ deactivation, according to Suzhou Industrial Park.
As a landmark of Suzhou city, Jinji Lake is a must-go for local citizens. They even say that you can miss others, but not the music fountain show of Jinji Lake.
As the largest and most complex fountain in China, it applies the industry’s highest technology and bears the memory of many local citizens.
However, the fountain was deactivated on June 1st, 2014 due to city construction. The last show witnessed over 10, 000 people.
Now, the fountain that has been disappeared for so long is finally coming back.
We went to Jinji Lake on December 26th to see how the construction goes so far. We found that the whole project is almost completed. The scale of the fountain is much larger than it used to be. Meanwhile, the fountain can hide under the water when it’s not operated, which doesn’t ruin the lake’s scenery.
The music fountain covers an area of 28, 000 m2. It will be the largest lake music fountain in China after construction. It is expected to have its debut around the coming New Year.
