East China’s Jiangsu province has registered 526 listed companies at home and abroad with 70 added to the list since the start of this year, indicating the improved results of the capital market, according to a news briefing held on Wednesday.
70 companies in Jiangsu went listed on the stock market, setting a record high and adding to a total of 526 listed companies in the province. The number of newly listed companies and the total number of the listed companies rank third in the country. The number of the companies listed on the new third board ranks second in the country.
The province’s direct financing issue exceeded the 2 trillion yuan mark for the first time while the direct financing issue of the newly added non-financial enterprises ranks first in the country. In the process of capital market development, Jiangsu has stepped up the efforts to serve the brick-and-mortar economy. 75% of the 380 companies listed on the domestic market are from the manufacturing sector, 11.51% higher than the national average.
