East China’s Jiangsu province held a mobilization and deployment meeting for institutional reform in Nanjing on Wednesday. Xin Changxing, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, delivered a speech. Governor Xu Kunlin presided over the meeting. Shen Ying, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, conveyed the main details of the province's institutional reform plan.
This meeting was held to study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches on deepening the reform of the Party and state institutions, fully implement the deployment of the Party Central Committee to deepen regional institutional reform, and ensure the high-quality completion of the province's tasks for institutional reform.
Xin Changxing urged the province to fulfill its major responsibility for institutional reform with a high degree of political consciousness, and to take on the key tasks of implementing institutional reform with a strong sense of responsibility so as to improve the leadership system of the Party for major modernization work, build an institutional functional system that is suitable for leading high-quality development, optimize the institutional mechanism for promoting modernization of social governance, and improve the scientific and standardized management system for institutional staffing to ensure the successful completion of the task of institutional reform with a rigorous work style, and provide a strong system and mechanism guarantee for promoting the new practice of the Chinese path to modernization in Jiangsu.
