MA'ANSHAN, Dec. 30, 2023 (Xinhua) -- The manufacturing of wheels for high-speed trains is well-known for its difficulty and high demand for quality. In recent years, Masteel of China Baowu Group has developed wheel and axle manufacturing technologies with independent intellectual property rights, breaking the longtime production monopoly by foreign companies.
Today in Masteel, it takes only about 68 seconds to roll and form a wheel. The production capacity and process control level of Masteel has reached the world-leading level.
