Xin Changxing, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, met with Guan Mingqiang, Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee of the Vietnamese Communist Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Assembly in Nanjing.
On behalf of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Government, Xin Changxing welcomed Guan Mingqiang's visit to Jiangsu. He said that this year coincides with the 15th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Vietnam. Last week, General Secretary Xi made a state visit to Vietnam and jointly announced with General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong the construction of a strategically significant China Vietnam community with a shared future.
Jiangsu has enjoyed a deep connection with Vietnam and established friendly provincial relations with Dong Nai Province 25 years ago. The continuous strengthening of exchanges and cooperation between the two sides has made the prospects very broad.
Xin Changxing said we are willing to work with Dong Nai Province to further expand the breadth and depth of cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, energy, and culture, in accordance with the strategic guidance of the highest leaders of the Chinese and Vietnamese parties, in order to better benefit the people of both regions and contribute to the community with a shared future between China and Vietnam.
Guan Mingqiang stated that China and Vietnam have enjoyed a deep friendship and close ties. Although we encountered snow during our visit to Jiangsu, our hearts were filled with warmth and emotion, as if we had returned home. He hopes to give full play to the advantages of each province, strengthen exchanges and mutual learning, promote friendly cooperation to a new level, and enhance the well-being of the people in both regions.
