The 7th China Xuzhou Artificial Intelligence Conference was held on November 29th in Gulou District, east China’s Xuzhou city. More than 150 academic and industry experts from the fields of artificial intelligence, computers, and big data exchanged their views on academic frontiers, shared research results, and explored the opportunities for artificial intelligence to fuel industrial transformation and lead social development.
Focusing on the development trends of the artificial intelligence industry, this conference aims to vigorously promote the deep integration of artificial intelligence and the real economy, accelerate the construction of urban emerging industry systems, and serve local development in response to the new needs of the development of the artificial intelligence industry in Gulou District.
The government of Gulou District briefed the participants on the investment environment and investment policies before signing contracts for 28 projects in artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, smart city, medicine and health, and headquarters platform.
“At this artificial intelligence conference, Huibang Technology signed a tripartite cooperation agreement with the Smart Medical Device Investment Promotion Office of Gulou District in Xuzhou and the Huanglou Street Office of Gulou District. We also held a launching ceremony for the Xuzhou Regional Chronic Kidney Disease Management Project in a bid to work together with the government to create a smart medical alliance for chronic kidney disease,” said Wang Wei, General Manager of Jiangsu Huibang Information Technology Co., Ltd.
At the main forum, Jiang Changjun, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, made a keynote speech. Jiang is also chairman of the board of supervisors of the Chinese Association of Artificial Intelligence.
Three sub-forums were also held, including "Development of Electronic Information and Digital Economy", "Innovative Development of Smart Medical Industry", and "Future Development of New Energy AI Industry".
Inaugurated in 2017 and held annually ever since, the China Xuzhou Artificial Intelligence Conference has become one of the highest standard, largest scale, and most influential conferences in the field of artificial intelligence in the Huaihai Economic Zone.
In recent years, Gulou District has laid out the future direction of the artificial intelligence industry, and created a new development blueprint for "smart Gulou" and "digital Gulou" by seizing the significant opportunity of national support for the development of the new generation of artificial intelligence.
“In recent years, Gulou District has promoted the deep integration of artificial intelligence with the three leading industries in a bid to give full play to its multiplier effect to stimulate the economy so that it has attracted leading enterprises such as Fosun Huibang, Rice Sensors, Hikvision, and Ubisoft. The signing of 28 urban industrial projects today is just a new starting point. In the future, we will provide enterprises with full lifecycle services for projects and work together with entrepreneurs to write a new answer sheet for ‘Digital Gulou’,” said Lu Hongying, Director of Investment Promotion Service Center, Gulou District.
