The cities of Taizhou and Nantong have upgraded livelihood projects to benefit the grassroots communities.
Holding the certificate issued by Xingtai Health Center in Jiangyan District, 85 year old Cao Hongxi took a free bus ride to Qintong People's Hospital for CT examination in the early morning.
The "cross hospital integration" implemented in Jiangyan District has merged some health centers into Qintong People's Hospital.
Township health centers can share all medical equipment, personnel, management and other resources with Qintong People's Hospital. At the same time, experts from the "General Hospital" will regularly visit each "Branch Hospital" for consultation and guidance.
“This health center can now perform tests that were not possible in the past, and our doctors have made a clearer judgment and more accurate understanding of the patient's condition. Every week, experts from Qintong will come to our inpatient department for guidance,” said Yang Yu, Doctor at Xingtai Health Center in Qintong Town, Jiangyan District, Taizhou.
The pilot establishment of regional medical and health centers in rural areas has achieved initial results with Xingtai and Shengao health centers reporting an increase from 30% to 65% in the initial visits by patients.
Nantong Urban Construction Group Zhibo Parking Management Co., Ltd. has responded to the tide parking work by launching the first batch of 265 parking spaces as a demonstration point for tidal parking.
“In the past, we capped the parking fee of 10 yuan for 24 hours. Now we have introduced night tidal parking, which only charges 1 yuan for 14 hours of parking, providing convenience for nearby residents,” said Tian Songshan, Deputy General Manager of Nantong Urban Construction Group Zhibo Parking Management Co., Ltd.
“I got home at 6 o'clock after work in the evening and went to work at 8 o'clock in the morning. It would be cost-effective to be charged one yuan only for one-night parking,” said a resident of Nantong.
