Joint efforts were called for to take forward the building of a community with a shared future in cyberspace to enable the internet to better benefit people of all countries at the 2023 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit.
The three-day conference, being held for the 10th consecutive year in Wuzhen, an ancient water town in Zhejiang province, has brought together top executives from global tech enterprises and leading Chinese internet companies.
“5GA can extend communication to the field of perception, which is to extend the communication ability of base stations to the perception ability. It can sense the movement speed and position of various vehicles and pedestrians on the entire road, providing better technical support for future road safety or urban brain decision-making,” said Yuan Zichen, 5GA cyber technology expert China Mobile.
“Digital technology has carried out a complete 1:1 high-definition modeling and rendering of Cave 285 of the Mogao Grottoes of Dunhuang, which is invisible or unclear in the real environment, to ensure that visitors can better feel the artistic details and charm of murals in the virtual world,” said Huang Yi, Senior Brand Manager of Tencent.
The conference released blue books "World Internet Development Report 2023" and "China Internet Development Report 2023”, important outcome documents of the World Internet Conference.
According to the reports, Jiangsu has continuously strengthened the construction of internet infrastructure, increased the construction and transformation of cyber optic fiber access to households, and promoted the innovation of the entire digital technology chain. By the end of 2022, the province has won 190 national science and technology awards for general projects, accelerated the cultivation of innovative enterprise clusters in the digital economy, and actively develop new formats for digital rural construction.
