Jing Junhai, Secretary of the Jilin Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Hu Yuting, Governor of Jilin Province, led a party and government delegation to visit Jiangsu on Wednesday to renew cooperation and discuss development plans. Jiangsu Provincial Party Secretary Xin Changxing and Provincial Governor Xu Kunlin attended a symposium.
Xin Changxing, on behalf of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Government, welcomed the visit of the Jilin Provincial Party and Government delegation and expresses his gratitude for the strong support that Jilin has provided to Jiangsu's work for a long time.
He said that in recent years, Jilin has solidly implemented a high-quality development strategy, showing a growth momentum and achieving significant achievements in comprehensive and all-round revitalization with many good experiences and practices that Jiangsu will learn from.
To embark on a new journey of comprehensively promoting the Chinese path to modernization, Jiangsu will work with Jilin to firmly grasp the primary task of high-quality development and the strategic task of building a new development pattern, focus on the implementation of major national strategies, jointly implement the CPC Central Committee's decision and deployment on promoting the overall revitalization of the Northeast in the new era, strengthen innovation cooperation, coordinate development, and work together to accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system.
Jiangsu will also strengthen agricultural cooperation with Jilin, accelerate agricultural modernization, promote cultural and tourism cooperation, deepen open cooperation, and promote mutual progress in connectivity, platform construction and other aspects around the joint construction of "the Belt and Road", so as to promote the cooperation between Jiangsu and Jilin to a new level and achieve new results.
Noting that in recent years, the cooperation between Jilin and Jiangsu has achieved fruitful results with deepening friendship between the two provinces, Jing Junhai hoped that both sides will deeply implement the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the symposium on promoting comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China in the new era and further promoting high-quality development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, promote exchange and mutual learning for complementary advantages, and mutual cooperation, and work together to write a new chapter of cooperation between Jilin and Jiangsu in the new era.
He hoped that the two sides would strengthen cooperation in key industries, promote universities, scientific research institutes and scientific innovation enterprises to jointly tackle key problems, jointly safeguard the safety of the national industrial chain, strengthen cooperation in seed technology research and development, scientific planting and breeding, intensive processing of agricultural products and other fields, cultivate new forms of modern agriculture, jointly shoulder and maintain national food security, work together to expand high-level opening up, and jointly integrate into the construction of "the Belt and Road", promote the win-win development of the cultural and tourism industry.
