East China’s Jiangsu province is sparing no efforts to boost employment for college graduates by holding job fairs and creating job opportunities. Let’s take a close look.
At 9:00 am, the Suqian College job fair saw college graduates consulting information, and submitting resumes, and companies offering nearly 1500 job vacancies and generous benefits. Wang Zhao, a student from southwest China’s Guizhou Province, is a major in mechanical and electrical engineering. He is looking forward to landing a job in Suqian.
In order to enable more college graduates to find employment in Suqian, Suqian has provided a wide range of talent support policies such as housing vouchers and living allowances. Graduates with Suqian household registration can enjoy an additional 15000 yuan employment subsidy, while non-Suqian household graduates can enjoy a 3000 yuan family visit subsidy.
At the job fair at Changshu Institute of Technology, 195 employers offered over 4700 job vacancies covering various industries such as information technology, manufacturing, new energy and new materials.
At a job fair in Hailing District, Taizhou City, 80 employers provided 1000 job vacancies, including technical engineers, reserve managers, and frontline operations.
“Enterprises report good effectiveness of this job fair. In the next step, we will continue to hold similar large-scale on-site job fairs to ensure stable employment”, Chen Wei, a staff member of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau in Hailing District, Taizhou City, said.
