The online service industry in Huai’an achieved a year-on-year growth of 27.8% in revenue from January to July, according to Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Statistics. As a result of the rise of Kuaishou Kuialian Information Technology Co. Ltd. in Hongze District, the Internet and related industries achieved rapid growth. Additionally, driven by the consumption of summer residents' travel, and entertainment, the service industry, and the cultural, sports and entertainment industries have also shown rapid recovery growth, with year-on-year growth of 38.5% and 22.0%, respectively.
As the demand for summer travel increase, the volume of railway and airline passenger transportation has shown a rapid recovery. From January to August this year, the railway and air passenger volume reached 10.328 million and 1.072 million, respectively, with a growth of 121.9% and 84.7% over the same period of last year.
