As per the “Notice on Supporting the Withdrawal of Housing Provident Fund to Pay the Down Payment for House Purchase” issued by Huai'an City, housing provident fund depositors and their spouses who purchase newly built commercial housing in Huai’an and meet the conditions for house purchase withdrawal can apply to the Municipal Provident Fund Center from October 7 to withdraw housing provident fund for the down payment on house purchases.
This policy aims to support the improvement of housing conditions for housing provident fund depositors, and alleviate the financial pressure of making down payments for purchasing new commercial housing.
The notice specifies the withdrawal limit for the down payments: The amount withdrawn by the applicant shall not exceed the balance of the individual housing provident fund account at the signing date of the “Huai'an Commercial Housing Subscription Agreement”. The total amount withdrawn by both spouses shall not exceed the down payment amount specified in the “Huai'an Commercial Housing Subscription Agreement”.
