Diplomatic envoys from 15 countries, including Israel and New Zealand, gathered in Nantong on Tuesday to participate in the first leg of their trip to Jiangsu.
Zhongtian Technology, a local private enterprise in Nantong, has been engaged in fiber optic communication expansion, information communication, smart grid, marine equipment, and new energy.
In recent years, the enterprise has achieved rapid development through technological innovation by successively leading and undertaking multiple national key planning projects to promote the transformation and upgrading of the enterprise towards high-end, intelligent, and green development, becoming one of the first batch of "digital pilot" enterprises in China.
When visiting the exhibition hall of Zhongtian Technology Nantong Science and Technology Innovation Center, the envoys to China were deeply impressed by the enterprise’s innovative vitality.
“This is the first company we visited on our first leg of the trip to Jiangsu. The company has developed very well. We have also seen how it has converted fiber optic into new energy and how the next generation of technology is developing. Israel and Jiangsu have cooperated in many fields, and we also look forward to collaborating with Jiangsu enterprises in more areas”, Irit Ben-Abba Vitale, Israeli Ambassador to China, said.
When visiting the banks of the Yangtze River along Wushan in Nantong, the envoys to China looked at the Yangtze River from the plank bridge and praised this ecological civilization picture of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. In recent years, the ecological landscape of Wushan has been fully demonstrated, becoming a model for the ecological protection of the Yangtze River in China.
“I feel very happy to be here. The Wushan Park is built along the Yangtze River. The Yangtze River is very important to the Chinese people as it is the mother river. I am very happy to see the development of this city and the beautiful integration of this riverside park into the lives of the local people”, Graham Morton, New Zealand Ambassador to China, said.
