China scooped two more titles in men's and women's 4x100m relays at the World University Games on Sunday.
Chinese runners also won the men's and women's 4x100m relay titles in 38.80 and 43.70 seconds respectively.
China's women's team of Liang Xiaojing, Ge Manqi, Cai Yanting and Li Yuting believed that their efforts paid off.
“I participated for this purpose. We did not have enough time to cooperate so I still need to learn from my predecessors and continue to refine my own skills. My speed may still be a bit behind theirs, so I still need to learn new technologies to improve my shortcomings”, Cai Yanting, Chengdu Universiade women's 4 × 100 meter relay champion, said.
China’s men’s team of Chen Jiapeng, Chen Guanfeng, Yan Haibin and Deng Zhijian aimed to further improve the performance in men's 4x100m relay.
After the Chengdu Universiade, China's athletes will continue to prepare for the Asian Games in Hangzhou and achieve the best at the upcoming Asian Games.
