Song Tao said in his speech that the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China mapped out a grand blueprint for comprehensively promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese path to modernization, which is of great and far-reaching significance for promoting the development of cross-strait relations and promoting the process of national reunification.
We adhere to the guidance of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly implement the overall strategy proposed by the Party in the new era to solve the Taiwan issue, unite the broad masses of Taiwan compatriots, and create a bright prospect for national reunification and national rejuvenation.
Compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait should firmly establish the correct direction for the development of cross-strait relations, promote cross-strait relations to return to the correct track of peaceful development, and make contributions to promoting the great cause of national reunification.
In his speech, Xin Changxing said that Jiangsu and Taiwan enjoy deep historical origins and close practical ties. Jiangsu has constantly deepened exchanges and cooperation with Taiwan and achieved fruitful results in integrated development, making it one of the regions with the best and most intensive investment and development environment for Taiwanese businessmen and the most fruitful results in cross-strait economic and trade cooperation.
Hung Hsiu-chu said that Taiwan compatriots should seize the opportunity, actively participate in Chinese path to modernization, achieve better development, and promote national rejuvenation, adding that the current generation should shoulder the important task of turning the crisis into safety, and carry forward the ambition of peaceful reunification bravely and firmly.
Wu Rongyuan, chairman of the Taiwan Labor Party, Hsiao Shu-li, chairman of the Chiayi Women's Federation, Wang Bingzhong, chairman of the founding committee of the New Chinese Children's Association, and Zhang Weishan, master of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said that the path of Chinese path to modernization will profoundly change Taiwan's social conditions and public opinion, and the prospect of national reunification will become increasingly clear, adding that Taiwan compatriots are all sons and daughters of China and we should share the development opportunities of Chinese path to modernization, jointly promote national reunification and seek national rejuvenation.
