East China’s Jiangsu province is making every effort to create as many jobs as possible for the fresh college graduates in a variety of ways.
The 2023 college graduate job fair held in Taizhou attracted over 4000 job seekers. Zhang Dongxing, who has just graduated from Changshu Institute of Technology, has taken a fancy to several suitable enterprises. Compared to professional counterparts, he values future development more.
“I found many positions here suitable for me. These positions do not have high professional requirements, and I mainly focus on various forms of arrangements for talent cultivation and employment”, Zhang Dongxing, a fresh college graduate, said.
150 well-known local enterprises in various industries such as food, machinery manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and chemical engineering provided over 4600 job vacancies. The recruitment fair received over 1600 resumes and over 700 people reached preliminary employment intentions.
At a summer talent exchange fair held at Lianyungang, 150 enterprises in petrochemicals, biopharmaceuticals, new materials, new energy, and high-end equipment manufacturing industries released over 7000 job vacancies for nearly 5000 job seekers.
“We recruit a large number of fresh college graduates, and we are willing to provide them with some training opportunities. After they enter the workforce, we will develop corresponding training plans”, Huang Meng, HR specialist of Jiangsu Nuotai Orsino Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd., said.
The human resources and social security department in Huai'an organized hundreds of job seekers to visit local enterprises. Under the leadership of the company's human resources manager, job seekers can gain an on-site understanding of the company's culture, visit production workshops and living facilities.
“Today's recruitment format is very good. The organizer showed us the company’s working environment and living environment, and I was very satisfied with everything. Therefore, I was hired after taking part in the company's interview”, a job seeker said.
