The 2023 World Semiconductor Congress and Summit opened in Nanjing on Thursday. Han Liming, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee, attended and delivered a speech.
At the opening ceremony, the China IC Unicorn Alliance, jointly initiated by well-known domestic unicorn enterprises in the integrated circuit industry and industry units such as industry, academia, research, application, and finance, was unveiled and settled in the Jiangbei New Area of Nanjing. The alliance is launched to further promote the construction of China's integrated circuit industry ecosystem.
The "Nanjing Declaration on Integrated Circuit Integration and Innovation Development in the Yangtze River Delta" released at the conference focus on the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, calling for strengthening cooperation and exchange in the field of integrated circuits, and promoting the coordinated development of industrial chain, supply chain, innovation chain, and capital chain.
“The alliance helps to further explore innovative integrated circuit enterprises with strong innovation, fast growth rate, and great development potential, and cultivate future segmented market leading integrated circuit enterprises”, Chen Wenbin, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director, Nanjing Jiangbei New Area Administration, said.
The summit also held professional exhibitions by setting up four key exhibition areas for IC design, packaging testing, manufacturing, equipment and materials, as well as a talent zone. The companies at the summit showcased the latest advanced technologies and high-end products in the semiconductor industry.
