Recently, the Provincial Department of Finance provided the first batch of Huai'an 2023 provincial special subsidies for high-standard farmland construction, totaling 337 million yuan. This year, Huai'an plans to build 218,400 mu of high-standard farmland, upgrade 240,100 mu, and realize efficient water saving for 17,100 mu, with a total planned financial investment of 1,152.5 billion yuan. The preliminary design approval for the projects will be completed soon.
In the next stage, Huai'an will continuously carry out special rectification actions on the quality of high-standard farmland construction projects to complete the construction tasks with high quality. It is expected to conduct project bidding in July and August and start the construction in September.
