In the first quarter of 2023, east China's Jiangsu province recorded a total tourism revenue of 240 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 54% by receiving 182 million domestic and foreign tourists, a year-on-year increase of 60%, according to statistics from the provincial department of culture and tourism. UnionPay recorded a total consumption of 120154 million yuan in Jiangsu's cultural and tourism industry, accounting for 10.63% of the national total and ranking first in the country.
