East China's Jiangsu province will build 11 rural logistics standard counties this year, according to The Notice on Issuing the Construction Plan of Counties with Standard Rural Logistics in 2023 issued by the Provincial Department of Transportation.
11 counties or county-level cities were included in the construction plan of rural logistics standard counties in 2023, with a construction period of one year. According to the three-year action plan for the integrated development of urban and rural logistics services in Jiangsu Province between 2021 and 2023, by 2023, the province will cultivate and form a number of new industries and new formats for the integrated development of mail, agriculture and commerce. Jiangsu will focus on increasing the coverage of rural logistics service network nodes, promoting the complementary sharing of transportation capacity resources, and promoting the innovation of urban and rural logistics service models to build rural logistics service brands. Up to now, 31 counties or county-level cities have measured up to rural logistics standard counties.
