China's e-commerce logistics activities registered a steady recovery in February as the effects of economic stabilization policies and measures are further revealed, industry data showed.
China's e-commerce logistics index stood at 107.2 points in February, 2.6 points higher than the previous month.
All sub-indexes recovered in an all-round way. The personnel index rose sharply on a month-on-month basis, reaching a new high in recent three years. Demand rose in an all-round way, and the total volume of e-commerce logistics business and rural e-commerce business in the eastern, central and western regions increased.
In February, the total business volume index of e-commerce logistics stood at 114.9 points, 2.6 points higher than the previous month. In terms of regions, the growth rate in the northeast region is the largest, and the eastern region is higher than the national average.
In February, the rural e-commerce logistics business volume index reached 114.3 points, 1.8 points higher than the previous month. From the later stage, although the demand side has achieved continuous growth, it is still at a low level compared with previous years, and there is still large room for growth.
The survey projects that the index will continue to rise in March, given the obvious pick-up and sound prospect of the Chinese economy.
