East China’s Jiangsu province has taken multiple measures to promote the introduction of high-level talents from overseas. Let’s take a close look.
Suzhou has taken the lead in launching the overseas student entrepreneurship loan financial product service for overseas returnees and their enterprises entrepreneurship by focusing on supporting enterprises' start-up and operation, innovative research and development, technological transformation and upgrading with the first batch of credit lines totaling 100 million yuan.
"We aim to solve the urgent need for financing difficulties and high costs of enterprises founded by overseas students, improve the innovation and entrepreneurship competitiveness of the returned students and help Suzhou create a high-level talent gathering platform and build a preferred city for returned talents," said Zhang Xin, Director of Talent Development and Foreign Cooperation Division of Suzhou Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.
Kunshan has set up an overseas high-level talent introduction workstation for the first time, providing whole-process tracking services from talent docking to project landing, and striving to promote the settlement of a number of innovative projects or enterprises with advanced technology, strong applicability and good development prospects.
Haimen Overseas Chinese Talents Entrepreneurship Park has built a platform covering various functions of the maker space and incubator, providing all-round security in terms of land, approval, employment, etc., and supporting various overseas Chinese talents entrepreneurship teams in the mode of "landlord+shareholder".
Jiangyin upgraded and renovated 106 high-quality apartments for talents, which will soon usher in the first resident in March. Each apartment is equipped with spacious living space, furniture, household appliances and various living facilities.
In the next step, the talent community will also open supermarkets, book reading areas and leisure activity areas to build a youth friendly community integrating catering, entertainment and living, and provide residents with services for higher quality life.
