China Council for the Promotion of International Trade or CCPIT released on Wednesday the RCEP certificate of origin for January, marking a significant increase in the issuance of number and amount of RCEP certificates of origin.
In January 2023, the CCPIT system recorded US $621 million of RCEP certificate of origin, with a year-on-year increase of 62.09%. 16297 certificates of origin were issued, with a year-on-year increase of 137.39%
The export destination countries include Japan, South Korea, Thailand and other 11 RCEP member countries, which are expected to reduce tariffs by US $9 million for Chinese enterprises.

The amount and number of RCEP certificates increased rapidly year on year, indicating that enterprises are increasingly familiar with the relevant policies of RCEP, and the policy dividend is gradually released.
