East China’s Jiangsu province reported smooth operation of the industrial economy in January as local enterprises have taken the initiative and aimed at the goals to ensure a flying start.
The province’s industrial economy continued its trend in January since the fourth quarter of last year with overall stable start, according to the tracking and monitoring of key regions and sample enterprises by the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu.
Since the end of the Spring Festival holiday, industrial enterprises have accelerated the resumption of work and production. By the first ten days of February, the number of enterprises resuming work and workers returning to work had exceeded the level of the same period last year with the industrial production rate rising to 90.3%.
Jiangsu Boyang Energy Equipment Co., Ltd., which produces full sets of automatic production equipment for photovoltaic modules, received orders from enterprises in Cambodia, Türkiye and other countries, as well as orders from domestic big brand enterprises such as Trina Solar, Jingko and BYD.
In response to the explosive growth of the photovoltaic industry in Jiangsu and even the world, Boyang has developed a complete set of automated production equipment for photovoltaic modules, which has increased the production efficiency by more than 20% compared with traditional equipment.
"This year, we will continue to strengthen production, promote technological innovation, continue to accelerate technological innovation and process improvement, adhere to differentiated development, promote product iterative upgrading, and strive to open up a broader market so as to realize the goal of increasing by more than 40% year on year." Jiangsu has given priority to the electronics, medicine, lithium battery, photovoltaic and new energy industries, which are the emerging industrial clusters in recent years. The employees of key enterprises have given up rest during the Spring Festival with the staff taking turns and the production line keeping running.
The electronic and pharmaceutical industries represented by TSMC, SK Hynix, Hengrui Pharmaceuticals, Kanion Pharmaceutical and Hansoh Pharmaceutical reported growth momentum in January.
Key lithium battery enterprises such as Jiangsu Contemporary Amperex Technology and CALB have heavy orders and tight delivery dates. Trina Solar, China Energy Silicon and other key photovoltaic enterprises kept running during the Spring Festival. With the continuous recovery of automobile production and the explosive growth of new energy vehicles, key automobile enterprises such as Li Auto, BYD and SAIC-Volks wagen Yizheng reported full orders. Hengtong Group, a leading optical and cable enterprise, worked in full gear.
The petrochemical, mechanical and light industries reported generally stable growth. Driven by festival factors, the food industry saw overall good operation in January.
