The city of Xuzhou started construction on the second phase of the Xincheng Branch of Xuzhou Central Hospital.
The second phase of the project, with an investment of 750 million yuan, covers a total building area of 95000 square meters, including 1500 beds in two ward buildings and 136 beds in one infectious ward building.
The hospital will become one of the four provincial regional medical centers in the province, further improve the medical and health supporting service infrastructure in the new urban area, and solve the problem of medical care for residents in the new urban area.

Recently, Yangzhou has completed the main project of the first phase of the new women's and children's hospital with 1000 beds, including the outpatient department, children's inpatient department and women's inpatient department.
