Xin Changxing, Secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, went on an inspection tour to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, the provincial government, and the provincial CPPCC on Thursday morning. Governor Xu Kunlin and Zhang Yizhen, provincial CPPCC Chairwoman, were present during the inspection tour.
Xin Changxing called for efforts to adhere to the guidance of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, gain insight into the decisive significance that the Party has established Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and defined the guiding role of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era from the political height of strengthening the four consciousnesses and the four self-confidences, safeguarding the authority of the CPC Central Committee and getting united around the centralized and unified leadership the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core so as to make a good start and make good progress in comprehensively promoting the new practice of Chinese path to modernization in Jiangsu.
When visiting the organs of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, Xin Changxing requested that we continue to work hard to understand the Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, Xi Jinping's important thoughts on adhering to and improving the people's congress system, adhere to the leadership of the Party, adhere to the performance of duties according to law, adhere to the supremacy of the people, adhere to strengthening ourselves, ensure modernization with high-quality legislation, effectively supervise and promote the implementation of the work, make high-level decisions that reflect the common will, and provide high-quality services to play the role of the deputies so as to constantly develop and improve the whole-process people's democracy.
During the inspection of provincial government organs, Xin Changxing asked for continuous efforts to enhance political stance, implement the decisions and deployment of the CPC Central Committee, closely focus on the grand blueprint of new Jiangsu pointed out by General Secretary Xi Jinping, promote the effective improvement of the economy in quality and reasonable growth in quantity, create a first-class business environment, and scientifically and accurately strengthen epidemic prevention and control.
During the inspection of the provincial CPPCC organs, Xin Changxing requested efforts to study and implement the important thought of General Secretary Xi Jinping on strengthening and improving the work of the CPPCC, adhere to the organic combination of the Party's leadership, the united front and consultative democracy, give full play to the role of the CPPCC as a special consultative organization, and show the role of the CPPCC and make contributions to the CPPCC in the new journey.
