East China’s Jiangsu province has stepped up the construction of major investment projects and ensured their smooth progress through every possible effort so as to fulfill goals for social and economic development.

Construction on the smart equipment production project of Kinmat got underway in Ehu Town, Xishan District, Wuxi. The 520-million-yuan project will achieve an annual total sales of 700 million yuan and an annual comprehensive tax of 44 million yuan.
Cao Yunfeng, Chairman of Wuxi Jinmate Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd, said that the enterprise is a digital intelligent equipment enterprise that produces shell slitting equipment including new energy vehicles, mobile phones and lithium battery boxes. It is expected that the main project will be completed within one year. Upon its production in June 2024, it is expected to produce 500 sets of intelligent slitting equipment every year.
In recent years, Wuxi has introduced many reform measures, accelerated the reform of major project approval system, and strengthened the life-cycle management of major projects. Since the beginning of this year, Wuxi has planned 25 major projects, started construction of 55 projects, and put 181 projects into operation.

Statistics show that from January to November, Changzhou invested 31.23 billion yuan in provincial major projects, 106.39 billion yuan in municipal major industrial projects, and added 117 cultivation projects. The unit investment of five major projects exceeded 1 billion yuan or 100 million dollars.
2872 projects with an investment of more than 1 billion yuan are under construction in Jiangsu, an increase of 400 over the same period of last year, up 16.2% over the same period of last year.
