  党的二十大报告提出,要健全新型举国体制,强化国家战略科技力量,提升国家创新体系整体效能。面向国家科技战略需求,近年来,江苏加快建设重大标志性创新平台,夯实基础研究和原始创新基础,全力打造科技创新的“国家攻坚队”。

The report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China emphasized that we will improve the new system for mobilizing resources nationwide to boost China's strength in strategic science and technology as well as the overall performance of China's innovation system. Facing the needs of national science and technology strategy, in recent years, Jiangsu has accelerated the construction of a major landmark innovation platform, consolidated the foundation of basic research and original innovation, and made every effort to build a "national team" for scientific and technological innovation.

Researchers from the Taihu Lake Laboratory of Deep Sea Technology and Science, located in Wuxi of Jiangsu Province, were seen conducting ship tests in a large seakeeping maneuverable tank to simulate the complex wind and wave environment of the ocean. The field of deep-sea science and technology has long been dominated by famous universities and research institutions in the United States, Europe and Japan. However, in just over a decade, China has steadily broken one record after another with innovation-driven breakthroughs. On November 10, 2020, China's deep-sea manned submersible Fendouzhe, or Striver, landed at the seabed of the Mariana Trench in the Western Pacific Ocean, leaving China's mark on the "fourth pole of the earth".

  十年来,江苏始终牢记习近平总书记“必须把创新摆在国家发展全局的核心位置”的重要指示,聚焦国家重大战略需求,布局建设了苏州实验室、紫金山实验室、太湖实验室等一批重大创新平台,锻造了“奋斗者”号载人潜水器、神威·太湖之光超算等一批“国之重器”。其中,网络通信与安全紫金山实验室被纳入国家战略科技力量布局,牵头承担国家6G总体技术研究任务,刷新了太赫兹无线通信世界最高实时传输纪录。十年来,江苏支持35位顶尖科学家领衔实施前沿引领技术基础研究重大项目,勇闯科研“无人区”;累计支持全省高校院所和企业承担国家自然科学基金项目约4万项,获国家科学技术奖通用项目439项、居各省(自治区)之首,王泽山院士、钱七虎院士相继获得国家最高科学技术奖。

The Zijinshan Laboratory, which is committed to cyber communication and security, was included in the national strategic scientific and technological force layout, took the lead in undertaking the national 6G overall technology research task, and set a new record for the world's highest real-time transmission of terahertz wireless communication. Over the past decade, Jiangsu has supported 35 top scientists in their endeavors to enter the "no man's land" of scientific research by leading the implementation of major projects of leading edge basic technology research. Jiangsu has supported colleges and universities and enterprises across the province to undertake about 40000 NSFC projects, and won 439 general projects of the National Science and Technology Award, ranking first in all provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions. Academicians Wang Zeshan and Qian Qihu have won the National Science and Technology Award.

  十年来,江苏在生物医药、电子信息、装备制造等领域累计建成国家和省重点实验室186家,在全省13个设区市均有布局;在集成电路、功能纤维、特种合金等领域布局建设国家和省级产业创新中心、技术创新中心、制造业创新中心43 家,省级以上科技公共服务平台260个,工程技术研究中心4464 个,院士工作站144个,各项创新平台数量均居全国前列。

In the past decade, Jiangsu has built 186 national and provincial key laboratories in the fields of biomedicine, electronic information and equipment manufacturing, which are distributed in 13 prefecture level cities across the province. Jiangsu has built 43 national and provincial industrial innovation centers, technological innovation centers, manufacturing innovation centers, 260 public service platforms for science and technology at or above the provincial level, 4464 engineering technology research centers, 144 academician workstations in the fields of integrated circuits, functional fibers, special alloys, etc. The number of innovation platforms is among the top in the country.
