With the great trust of more than 5.4 million Party members and the expectations of 85 million people in Jiangsu province, Jiangsu delegates to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China arrived in Beijing on Friday.
Full of vigour and confidence in the success of the 20th CPC National Congress, the delegates believed that the 20th National Congress of the Party is a very important meeting held at a critical moment when the whole Party and the people of all ethnic groups are embarking on a new journey of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way and marching towards the second centenary goal.
They remarked that they will gain insight into the decisive significance that the Party has established Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and defined the guiding role of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era from the political height of strengthening the four consciousnesses and the four self-confidences, safeguarding the authority of the CPC Central Committee and getting united around the centralized and unified leadership the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core so as to fully implement the Xi Jinping Thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, and work together to build a socialist modern country in an all-round way and promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation in an all-round way.
Li Guohua, a delegate to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, said that the congress has attracted worldwide attention. He will attend the congress in a full spirit and return with full harvest.
Yang Dongsheng, a delegate to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, said that he would earnestly fulfill the responsibilities and missions of Party members, successfully complete the tasks of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, gather the great power of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and inject new momentum and vitality into the Chinese economy.
A total of 69 Jiangsu delegates attended the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The structure conforms to the requirements of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, which not only embodies the progressiveness, but also has broad representativeness.
Among them are leading cadres of Party members at all levels, Party members at the forefront of production and work in the fields of economy, science and technology, politics and law, education and culture, and a certain number of women Party members and ethnic minority Party members.
Compared with the previous National Party Congress, the delegates to this Party Congress include more advanced model figures among workers, farmers and professional and technical Party members, especially outstanding Communist Party members who have made outstanding performance in the implementation of major national development strategies, the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic, disaster prevention and relief and dangerous and important tasks amid difficult work environments.
The deputies to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China said they felt their great responsibility and glorious mission, so they have made full preparations and would earnestly perform their duties.
Duan Jun, a delegate to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, said that as a representative of migrant workers, he was very excited to attend the congress and felt heavy responsibilities on his shoulders.
Zhou Weizhong, a delegate to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, said that he would not only bring the aspirations and expectations of the masses to the congress, but also bring back the good policies and principles of the Party to be implemented at the grassroots level.
