In the past decade, Taiwanese enterprises in Jiangsu have achieved considerable development in terms of quantity, scale and quality. As of the end of July, Jiangsu has ranked foremost for 18 consecutive years in the total amount of Taiwanese capital attracted and utilized.
In April, Itech Electronics (Nanjing) Co., Ltd.,a Taiwan-funded enterprise, launched a new type of power grid simulator independently developed for mass production.
Compared with similar products in Europe and the United States, this power grid simulator has sold 2,000 units in less than half a year, with orders from 30 cities in China and more than 20 countries around the world with its obvious performance advantages.

The company has 192 patents and was rated as a national high-tech enterprise. In 2021, the company registered an operating income of 430 million yuan.
Since the 1980s, Jiangsu has introduced a series of effective measures to implement the same treatment for Taiwan compatriots and Taiwan enterprises, assist Taiwan compatriots in starting businesses and employment, provide tax incentives, financing convenience and financial support for Taiwan enterprises, and encourage and guide more Taiwanese enterprises to increase capital and expand production.
On September 1, the "Jiangsu Province-Taiwan Economic and Cultural Exchange and Cooperation Promotion Regulations" came into effect, hoping to give Taiwan compatriots more equal treatment in education, employment, health, and social security, which has enhanced Taiwan compatriots' confidence in the peaceful development of cross-strait relations.
