Over the past ten years, Jiangsu has implemented the innovation-driven development strategy, strengthened the cultivation of strategic scientific and technological forces, and built a number of major innovation platforms including Suzhou Laboratory, Zijinshan Laboratory, and Taihu Laboratory through the launch of 2 major national science and technology infrastructures, 42 national key laboratories, and 144 provincial key laboratories.
Under the guidance of strategic needs, the frontier materials of mobile communication and quantum optoelectronics have further strengthened Jiangsu's position and role in the national innovation map.
