During the 2022 World Semiconductor Conference held recently, Montage Technology (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. was honored as 2022 WSCE China High-speed Interconnect Chip Technology Leading Enterprise and won 2022 WSCE Top10 IC Product Award for its DDR5 series memory modules.
"At present, DDR4 memory is the mainstream on the market. However, the highest rate of our first-generation DDR5 memory is 1.5 times that of DDR4. Mass production has been carried out and our products have been supplied to such world-renowned memory chip companies as Samsung, Micron and Hynix," said Yang Xu, head of the public affairs department of Montage.
Montage Technology was founded by Prof. Yang Chonghe, also an expert of National Major Talent Project. With an over 50% worldwide market share, the company has helped the country fill its gap in the high-end chip field.
In 2021, there were 301 key enterprises in the integrated circuit industry across Suzhou, achieving an overall sales revenue of 85.41 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 34.7%. The industry has showed a promising prospect.
