Wu Zhenglong, Secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, and Xu Kunlin, Governor of Jiangsu, met Wednesday in Nanjing with Zheng Xuexuan and Zhang Zhaoxiang, chairman and general manager of China State Construction Engineering Corporation.
Wu Zhenglong and Xu Kunlin expressed their welcome to Zheng Xuexuan and Zhang Zhaoxiang for their visit to Jiangsu and their thanks to CSCEC for its contribution to the development of Jiangsu over the years.
Wu Zhenglong said Jiangsu is stepping up its efforts to study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech delivered on July 27 at the opening ceremony of a study session of provincial and ministerial-level officials and the important speech delivered at the meeting of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.
The CPC provincial chief noted that efforts are being made to completely, accurately and fully implement the new development concept, accelerate the construction of a new development pattern, focus on promoting high-quality development, efficiently coordinate epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development, actively expand effective investment, moderately advance the deployment of major projects in transportation, energy, water conservancy, environmental protection and new infrastructure construction so as to further consolidate the momentum of economic recovery and turnaround, and take practical actions to welcome the convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.
Commenting on Jiangsu’s advantages and resources in economic development, manufacturing industry and market potentials, the CPC provincial chief expressed his confidence in the cooperation between Jiangsu and CRRC in terms of building a modern infrastructure construction system, promoting the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of the construction industry, promoting the stable and healthy development of the real estate market, and ensuring the stable and safe development of the people's livelihood.
He said that Jiangsu will continue to create a first-class business environment that is market-oriented, legal, and international, and fully supports the development of China State Construction Engineering Corporation in Jiangsu.
