The province's first prefecture-level city express delivery labor dispute mediation center was unveiled in Wuxi on Monday.
As the highland of the express industry in the province, Wuxi has 54 express companies and more than 20,000 express employees with the annual express business volume hitting nearly 1 billion yuan. The Sunan Express Industrial Park, located in Xinwu District, Wuxi, is the first industry park in the country named after the "Express Industry". It has settled in 14 mainstream express delivery brands including China Post, SF Express, and YTO, as well as more than 20 cloud warehouses including Cainiao, Suning, and JD.com.
Wuxi is exploring the establishment of an express industry labor dispute mediation center in the industrial park in a bid to resolve labor disputes in the express delivery industry and improve the social governance system.
The center is a smart mediation and arbitration service hub integrating multiple functions such as prevention and early warning, consultation and guidance, mediation and arbitration.

We hope that through these means, we can effectively reduce the labor dispute cases, in the express industry in Wuxi, coordinate and stabilize labor relations in the express industry, and better ensure the healthy development of the express industry.
Wuxi will copy the successful model of the courier group to the field of new employment forms such as platform takeaway deliverymen, car hailing drivers, Internet marketers, etc.
Local authorities will also study and explore effective methods for protecting the rights and interests of workers in the new employment form in terms of fair employment, labor remuneration, rest and vacation, labor safety, and social insurance.
