The city of Changzhou in east China’s Jiangsu province has scored more than 100 billion yuan of regional GDP in the past ten years by going all out to implement new development concepts, continue to promote and strengthen intelligent manufacturing capabilities, lead the layout of modern industries, explore green transformation and development, and promote common prosperity.

The self-developed extended-range power system is adopted in the manufacturing of Li 1 car so as to have increased the battery life of China's new energy vehicles to more than 1,000 kilometers.

In the past 10 years, Changzhou's new energy vehicle industry has grown from the scratch due to the city's continuous implementation of new development concepts.

Since 2013, Changzhou has implemented the strategy of industrial economic transformation by taking the intelligent transformation and cluster development of the manufacturing industry as an important way to promote high-quality development, and laying out a batch of high-end, high-quality, high-tech hard core industry cluster.

High-end innovation carrier platforms such as New Energy Vehicle Research Institute, China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park, and Longcheng Laboratory have provided continuous innovation momentum for industrial development.

In the past 10 years, automobile companies including BAIC New Energy, BYD, and Li Auto have settled in Changzhou, while headquarters-based companies including CATL and Honeycomb Energy have set up manufacturing bases and R&D institutions in the city.

The new development concept has brought about high-quality development results. Today, the output value of Changzhou's new energy vehicle industry exceeds 110 billion yuan with the production and sales ranking first in Jiangsu, and the power battery production capacity accounting for 1/3 of the national total.

Graphene, the king of new materials, has become a global industry benchmark. More than 70 robot companies have settled in Wujin District, opening up the entire chain of design, R&D and manufacturing. One out of every four industrial robots in China is "Made in Changzhou".

In the past ten years, Changzhou has actively practiced the concept that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets, and promoted the integrated development of the rural tertiary industry.

In Liyang district, a rural highway has connected urban and rural areas, remote mountain villages have welcomed tourists from afar, and cultural and tourism IP has promoted more than 100,000 farmers along the line to increase their income and build up their fortune.

In Jintan, smart farms and zero-carbon fish farms have continued to improve the content of agricultural science and technology, and embarked on the road of agricultural modernization and transformation.

Over the past ten years, Changzhou has continued to promote ecological improvement and the protection of the Yangtze River, and all chemical enterprises within 1 km along the river have been shut down.

Changzhou has built 5 kilometers of ecological corridors and 3,000 mu of green space, integrating the protection of cultural heritage of the Grand Canal and the development of cultural tourism.

Qingguo Lane and Creative Block No. 5 make the millennium-9ld canal a new look of the times. Changzhou has built two-lake innovation zones on the basis of ecological restoration of Gehu Lake and Changdang Lake, gathering innovative resources and injecting vitality into the city and industry.

From the industrial star city to the "532" development strategy, Changzhou has made continuous efforts to be at the forefront of socialist modernization.

In the past ten years, Changzhou saw its GDP grow from less than 400 billion yuan in 2012 to 880.7 billion yuan, ranking foremost in Jiangsu.

Over the past ten years, Changzhou has continued to improve its ecological environment, and won honors including "National Forest City", "China Model City for Greening", and "China Comprehensive Award for Habitat Environment".

In the past decade, Changzhou recorded more than 150 thousand yuan in its per capita GDP, ranking among the top ten in China, and gradually narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas.
